Yesterday I had the first day of my sewing course - it's the first of four, four hour classes (which includes me and a whole bunch of kids aged 13 to 15! Eek I'm the oldest in the class by more than 10 years!).
The class was really good though and the tutor is really excellent. I've nearly finished my first project - a black A-line skirt (although I have to admit I'm finding the darts a wee bit tricky) - it's nearly finished - I just have to hem it and add the waistband - I'm also wanting to sew some red lace along the bottom:)
Then my next project for class will be a red tartin halterneck top - yah!
