80's Themed Swap

Last night, I took part in my final swap with my craft group the Crafty Foxes. My partner was my friend Kat who has just bought a new house so I made her a "shrine to 80's tackiness'' using all sorts of random bits and pieces I had lying around. The front of the shrine says "The Decade that Taste Forgot".I recieved a pair of black sparkly 80's style fingerless gloves from Kat for the swap which are very cool and unlike any other fingerless gloves I have which is pretty much an achievement in itself - as I have a lot of fingerless gloves.

Carolyn's Bracelets

I recently made these bracelet's for my friend Carolyn in New Plymouth. She is pretty happy with them and I am also really happy with the way they turned out. In case you're wondering - Carolyn's nickname is "Pies"hence the bottom bracelet.

Fun with Felt Swap

I have just taken part in a fun with felt swap and my partner hasn't recieved my package yet but I have recieved mine. It was a pretty amazing package with a whole bunch of really cool hairclips and also a cool pouch with a zombie and werewolf.

Disposable Camera Swap

I have recently taken part in a "disposable camera swap" and although I'm yet to recieve my partners package, she has recieved mine. There were a couple of things we had to do for this swap, the first was either make or embellish a frame and here's the frame I embellished - it has a rather autumn feel about it.

Secondly we had to send our partners at least 25 photographs that we had taken for the swap - the photos I took especially for the swap are below.

Virtual Vacation Swap - A trip to Ireland

My partner for the virtual vacation swap has now recieved the package I made for her so I can blog about them! She said that she'd like to take a virtual trip to Ireland - so there's a lot of green in her package, starting with a lot of green jewellery.

Next up are some old which I made into magnets...
Next up I made some Irish "postcards", decorated some frames and added some vintage Irish photos and I also some notecards with some vintage pictures.

I also made a bag from a guiness tee shirt, however, the photo's of that turned out even the worse than these. Seemed like I was having a bad photo taking day!
