Lotte World

Last Saturday Rich and I finally made it to Lotte World, one of the three main amusement parks in Seoul.

It's a pretty surreal place - half the park is inside and part is outside - which is really great if the weather is hot, and it was really hot on the day we went.

We went on some pretty great rides, I loved the "Tomb of Horrors" , the pirate ship and the log flume.

When you go to a theme park in Korea you HAVE to buy something silly to wear. I chose a headband with hearts and wings on springs.

If you're thinking of going to Lotte World, here's my advice, go early! We arrived at 10am and we were able to go on three rides in half an hour but buy 2pm the place was packed and the wait for rides was 40 minutes.

But if you live in Seoul, you should go, because it's awesome.

But does anyone else think the castle looks a little too much like Disneyland?
